When I was young I spent may happy hours sewing and making crafts with my mum. However as I got older life took over and I had a lot less time so these skills were put to bed for a time.
Then after meeting my husband, getting married and settling down in rural Shropshire my daughter came along, our nights out became few and far between and my job became part-time. Life was Great!
It wasn't until my daughter started school that I found I had a little time on my hands. This is when I started to sew again making dresses and bags form my daughter. She looked great in them and other people thought so too, as I was often asked to make something for a friends child. But this was not only clothes I was asked to make things from memory bears to aprons to curtains and blinds.
I enjoyed the sewing but there was always one thing from my childhood that I couldn't leave alone. I love to paint mum and I use to paint in oils, however I have now found that my favourite medium is watercolour. I still have a lot to learn about this medium and my paintings are a bit hit and miss at to how they turn out. But this is what makes them unique.
I hope you like my makes, please contact me with any questions you may have.
Nicola.
