How it all started..

I started painting and creating small things from a young age but never thought that one day I can use it in my career. My parents wanted me to be become a doctor but my heart was longing for something else.

My story started when I came to England years ago to improve my English. I met my future husband who helped me to become who I wanted to be. He supported me in my creativity, believed in me and just because of him I do what I love which makes me happy. Now full time graphic designer and owner of TatraCottage.

TatraCottage started as a combination of English and Slovak heritage. My inspiration comes from my life which is fuelled by both my husband’s and my own love for hiking, the countryside and natural materials such as wood and slate.

All our items are created in our little garden studio, here in Gloucestershire.
