I create unique handmade gifts for everyone in a contemporary style

Skylark Designs was born in 2013 when I took the leap from hobby to full time vocation!

I live with my family and 3 cheeky pets in rural Hertfordshire which provides me with a great inspiration for my products. Making is my first love, and each of my handmade gifts is carefully curated using professional techniques and ideas. My inspiration comes from everywhere from the texture of a fabric to the colours in the garden. Each piece is created in a distinct style and my paintings are an illustration of British Wildlife which is really special to me.

My paintings are small snapshots of woodland animals and birds painted in acrylic and watercolour on canvas which is then professionally printed as giclee prints framed or unframed. My other products are a variety of contemporary style gifts unique to Skylark Designs and I am inspired to make everyday products which can be used in the home but have an eyecatching appearance and brighten your day. A lot of my customers have commented they are great conversation pieces.

I like meeting new people at markets and fairs and teaching crochet at various locations in Hertfordshire. I have been crocheting for over 30 years and my students and I have a fun and creative time at my crochet workshops which I hold in the lovely W Café in Waterstones Bishops Stortford where you can read and buy lots of lovely craft books too!

I plan to continue my creative journey with more handmade products and paintings and maybe a few surprises!

Skylark Designs was born in Buntingford, England in 2013.

I love to find something unusual and try to create unique and individual gifts. My inspiration comes from all walks of life from a beautiful view to a stark contrast in texture. I try and use these aspects in my work to create something fresh and new.

All my work is produced to the highest standard and makes a quality gift.

Returns Policy

You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Please note: Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken.

All items are despatched in pristine condition. Damaged or faulty goods can be returned with photographic evidence. All other policies apply to distance selling regulations.
