Over the years I have dipped in and out of various Arts & Crafts hobbies and came to Silversmithing through a local Adult Education Silversmithing and Jewellery course. Over the past ten years I have taken a number of courses to extend my skills, and gained experience making jewellery for family and friends . Following requests to make commission pieces I set up my Folksy shop, and now have a registered maker’s mark for hallmarking with Goldsmith’s Hall, London Assay Office.
I love the creation processes of this craft and being handmade, each item will therefore be completely individual in its design and finish. I am inspired by naturally organic shapes and textures and try to incorporate some aspect of this into my designs. I love the natural inclusions of the metal after soldering which gives an organic feel to the piece and a handmade, personalised feel. I love unusual stones and inclusions such as rough cut or uncut stones and rutile quartz.
I like to include granulation, reticulation and other texturing techniques in my designs. I use traditional tools and silversmithing techniques and all materials are made of 925 sterling silver. Most items weigh under 7.78gms and therefore do not require hallmarking. All of the larger pieces over 7.78gms are 925 sterling silver will be hallmarked at the London Assay Office.

Postage/Shipping:
I aim to despatch all orders within 3 working days of the payment being cleared and will confirm when your order has been posted. I will use first class, signed for delivery service to ensure safety of receipt.
