Making life proper cushty, one cushion at a time!

Hi, and welcome to ProperCushty

I chose the name ProperCushty for my shop because it reminds me of my roots: I live in Newcastle upon Tyne, in the north east of England, and here, when something is really good, they say it's 'proper'. When I was a child, in a small town just south of where I am now, when something was good, it was 'cushty'.

I source new and vintage fabrics, in a wide range of colours and textures, and create one-off cushion covers (although I also make pairs and sets), to complement your style and allow you to show your personality throughout your home.

I also take commisions, so please let me know if you have something specific in mind.
