It all began with a little rag doll named Sarah designed and made in my own way for somebody special. This design became my very first sewing pattern in 2012!
Since then I've added teddies, bunnies, and an elephant to the range, but my aims have always remained the same - to provide accessible, user-friendly photo tutorials that are colourful, fun and not in the least bit scary! My step-by-step guides will show you how to successfully sew your own cotton cuties with enjoyment and ease.
My philosophy encourages the idea of up-cycling, meaning that you should be able to find most of the materials needed to create your softy at home, without the need to source and purchase expensive extras. In fact many have found our patterns to be perfect for sewing keepsake or memory toys made from treasured articles of clothing such as baby clothes or school uniform.
My sewing patterns are aimed at beginners and improvers and are graded for ability. Many are simple enough for children / young adults and as you can see from a few of our client testimonials it seems we've got the balance just about right:-
