I've always loved making things and my favourite gifts as a child involved colouring books and craft kits, the process of creating has always been massively therapeutic for me.
Back in 2012 I began playing with beads and wire and figuring out basic jewellery making skills, this led to a love of metal and gemstones. In 2015 I opened my store here in Folksy and began selling silversmithed jewellery, chainmail jewellery alongside some classic beaded designs.
Unfortunately I suffered a hand injury which led to surgery and a long recovery. I had to empty my shop and give up on building my little business further.
Now were in 2021 and I'm halfway through an accounting degree and find myself able to create using some of the techniques I fell in love with during the start of my journey with a focus at the moment on the very underrated material copper.
Between working on my degree and creating jewellery I am a mum to two teens and a very hyperactive border collie and love to wander the Scottish countryside with my husband and collie in tow
