A range of stitches have been used to create these beautiful designs - holbein stitch, fly stitch, buttonhole stitch and wave stitch. The beads are securely attached with a double backstitch. I would strongly recommend you handwash this beautiful item due to its delicate nature. I was inspired to make this through a love of all things art nouveau and art deco.
