Full description
I made this tile to represent the flowers and sundown. Imagine the sun going down and the flowers in silhoutte, their colours muted.
This tile is made from a deep yellow base with copper inclusions for the stems and frit (crushed glass) for the heads of the flowers, all encased in clear glass. This vision of sundown will never fade, a lovely thought as we approach winter.
The tile measures approx 11.5cm x 7cm and would look lovely sat on a mini acrylic plate rack or placed on a table.
The tile has been fused in a digitally controlled kiln to ensure stability within the glass and prevent cracking. Any small bubbles are part of the charm of the piece.
Fused glass is quite durable and whilst I wouldn't recommend that you throw it around (!), if you drop it, it shouldn't break, (unless perhaps it's on a tiled floor from a great height!)
I want you to be 100% happy with anything you buy therefore I am happy to offer a 7 day, no quibble refund on all items. All items must be returned to me in their orginal state and with the original packing. Unfortunately I cannot refund the postage.
