Having always had dogs, I know how important it is to enable us to be able to keep those paws downstairs at times! Over the years, I have always used baby gates as a way of refraining them, but I have found that they can take the paint\wallpaper off the walls, they can become loose and the bottom bar can also be a trip hazard on the stairs.
That's when I thought.... wouldn't it be good if you could have a freestanding dog gate for your stairs which didn't damage the walls and actually looks lovely in your home. That's when 'The Dog Stopper Company' was born!
