Hand finished petticoat, suitable for re-enactment for the 16th and 17th centuries.
This would would been worn underneath or over a kirtle, and most likely over a bum roll. This would keep the skirts out from the feet, whilst also maintaining the fashionable shape!
Bum rolls are also available!
However, this skirt provides a gorgeous historic shape for those wanting a little history in their wardrobe! It is made from several metres of fabric and is perfect for lots of movement! I wear historic skirts everyday, as they keep me warm in my little workshop and are perfect for wandering through the woods nearby!
