I have knitted some dear-little white flowers and put a die-cut bright pink felt shape in the centre, add a blue vintage button and these would look so cute on some plaits or pig tails! I have sewn them onto nice thick hair bands, (the ones with no metal so no bits to get caught) I have neatened the back with a pale pink die-cut felt flower shape.....aaaahhh.
