A long time ago, when Animal Fayre Designer Tapestry Kits was new, I had a stand at The Royal Highland Show in Edinburgh. The lovely lady in the stand next to me had always wanted a snail tapestry and commissioned me to design it.
I hadn't realised that snails have two pairs of feelers! My snail was perfect for Ruth and she was delighted when I named the design after her.
