Whenever I go for walks, I usually see poppies dotted around here and there but never many together. I decided to photograph those single poppies whenever I saw them and took the most beautiful ones to recreate into this piece of artwork which depicts these poppies sitting together and not alone.

Poppies in a Row - Handmade Silkscreen Print.
The main image has been photographed in its packaging so slight reflection is seen (clear compostable cellophane sleeve).
This silkscreen print is handmade in my studio using the traditional screen print method of 'cut paper stencils' and hand pulling paint through a screen print frame in order to add layers of colour onto the image.
The paper size of this print is of 11.5 x 12inch (29.2 x 32cm). The image size is 25cm x 23cm.
Printed on 230gsm acrylic printmaking paper. There are 6 prints in this edition. One print will be supplied, unframed, numbered, titled and signed by the artist in pencil.
The item will be posted flat in a cellophane sleeve, placed in between recyclable grey boards for extra protection and sealed in a board backed envelope. This item will also be posted using Royal Mail 2nd Class 'Signed For' service.
