FOLKSY/SUE RYDER UPCYCLE CHRISTMAS ENTRY.

Pair of thrifted pale green plates, handpainted with little houses and matching hand embroidered napkins. I have used a special ceramic paint on the plates, they are perfectly usable and food safe, but do please wash them by hand and not in the dishwasher. They measure 22cms across and are 'woods ware beryl'.
The napkins have been made from pillow cases found in the charity shop too. They are a lovely thick white cotton fabric. They are both hand embroidered with three little houses in the bottom right hand corners to match the plates in a pale green. I also hand stitched the hems in the same colour embroidery floss. They measure 20cms square.
