Khadi Papers India and Cambridge Imprint (UK) - a great combination for a sketchbook!
Khadi create their hand moulded sheets from 100% cotton linters (reclaimed from t-shirt trimmings). It is a rare thing nowadays, to find 100% cotton paper. The fibres are long and give strength, absorbency and character to the papers. They have a natural deckled edge, from the moulds in which each sheet is made, plus a medium or rough surface, making Khadi paper very popular for art projects, also for writing.
Cambridge Imprint papers are designed and screen-printed by the company, at their studios in Cambridge, UK, then the finished designs are litho-printed in the UK, using vegetable-based inks.
Both companies do their best to keep an ethical approach to their design and manufacture; this sketchbook is an ideal marriage of the two papers, making an ecologically and ethically sound product.

Additional terms
Standard returns policy applies to this item, except when a customised label has been purchased and attached to the book. If the book has a customised printed label, the book is then not eligible for return, unless it is faulty. However, if there should be a problem with your order, do contact me and I will do my best to resolve it to your satisfaction.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
An artist's sketchbook with hard covers, filled with Khadi hand made paper.
The covers are of "Wild Flowers" design, by "Cambridge Imprint", in coral red and peach. They are lined with toning peach art paper.
The binding is hand sewn, with a combination of Coptic style chain stitch & French linkstitch, in coral linen thread. The binding allows the book to open out flat throughout. There are five sets of four pages.
The book contains 20 pages (40 sides) of high quality, Kahdi Indian 100% cotton rag hand made paper.
The 150g paper has a medium textured surface and is suitable for all dry media and also paint and ink.
Ideal as a sketching and testing book for a printer or painter, it would also make a good journal or planning book, notebook etc.
The book measures 8.25" x 6" / 21cm x 15.5cm ( A5 size).
PERSONALISATION
A plain white label can be attached to the cover, or the first page at no extra cost. Please leave a message at checkout.

This book is a one-off item and, for your security, it will be posted to you by Royal Mail "Signed For" delivery. The delivery is tracked and a signature will be needed on receipt.
