Full description
This charming bird brooch has been hand modelled from papier-mâché and then covered with paper taken from a pre-loved copy of a classic Gothic romance, Jane Eyre. Although large enough to make a statement, as it is lightweight due to the materials it is made of, it will not drag down your lapel, blouse or dress or whatever you choose to pin it to. At a distance it looks like a vintage bird pin but once closer it becomes clear that recycled paper has been used, leaving you to reveal the secret that it celebrates what is probably Charlotte Brontë's most famous work.
Even if you are not a book lover yourself, everyone knows someone who loves to read. Lovingly made this brooch would be much appreciated and admired whether you buy it to wear yourself or as a gift for a friend or loved one

This brooch has been hand modelled making it completely unique.
It has a length of approximately 7 cm (3 inches).
It will come in eco-friendly wrapping which is completely recyclable and where possible recycled materials have also been used in the packaging.
This brooch can be made to order in any of the books I have in my range.
