Thank you for visiting my Folksy Shop - I design and make unique pieces of jewellery and metal craft based in East Yorkshire.
PLEASE NOTE: My Folksy Shop will be closed from 27th May until 12th June.
I am not taking commissions for the foreseeable future.
I like to experiment with silver and love to layer, creating frames and pictures. I have kept these earrings quite simple but have allowed some of the patina created during the soldering process to stay which gives them a more aged appearance. For warmth I have added sunstone and amber beads which are beautiful stones to work with.
It is said that the norsemen used sunstone as a talisman to help them navigate on their travels. I would like to think that the wearer of these earrings will enjoy their own adventures.
