Full description
A sweet little wall plaque featuring one of my button birds and the words "Friendship Starts with a Smile".
This button bird is made using two vintage deepest red stacked buttons on a frayed Irish linen backing. The bird along with a small goose, blue heart and two smaller caramel coloured buttons are individually appliquéd onto unbleached calico with a small red heart border along one edge.
The appliquéd calico is securely mounted onto an ATC sized (3.5 x 2.5 inches) mdf block which is finished on the reverse with more frayed edge Irish linen and two small copper eyelets which have been strung for hanging. The plaque would also look lovely resting against a wall on your desk or a shelf.
Please note that due to the nature of these plaques which contain a certain amount of reclaimed and/or vintage materials it is often impossible to replicate each design exactly.
