The Mean Reds

Description

This print is taken from my original painting. I called it 'The mean reds' after Audrey Hepburn's speech in Breakfast at Tiffany's, where she talks about the mean reds being worse than the blues.

This painting won the LivingEtc Forum prize May 2009 and it's featured on page 26 in the August 2009 edition of the magazine.

The poem was originally written in the following format:

Today I'm feeling very sad
I don't know why - I should be glad
But somehow all I feel is blue
and even when I think of you
it doesn't help I want to cry
I'm feeling sad I don't know why.

The image is printed on A4 archive quality paper. It will be sent to you sealed in cellophane in a board-backed envelope. Each print will be signed and dated.

The original artwork and copyright remains the property of Lindsay Alexander. The buyer is not entitled to reproduction rights.
