These eye catching round studs are handcrafted by myself at my studio in Ross-on-Wye. The earrings are etched with an image of grasses from the Herefordshire hedgerow...and little round piece of gold has been soldered into place.

The earrings are 1.8cm in diameter, a flat circle. They are marked on the back with 'AT', my makers mark. They have a shiny silver finish, with oxidised relief areas, to bring out the definition of the etching. (picture four is to show side shot, but is a black and white image, so not representative of true colour).

These earrings are individual and unique, classy and sophisticated. You will be purchasing a one off pair of studs, which is intended as a forever piece of jewellery.

All earrings are sent out FREE POSTAGE in the UK, and in an attractive 'ali tregaskes' presentation box.

I walk along the banks of the river Wye on a daily basis, and regularly take photographs of the flora and fauna...these in turn become either inspiration for some small idea for a piece of jewellery, or the images themselves get used as etchings.

These earrings have been cut out by hand, etched the image onto the silver with nitric acid. After that the gold ball is soldered onto the fronts. The last solder is to add the earring post onto the back. Then comes the finishing stages, which includes filing, oxidising and polishing.
