This ceramic bowl has been hand-thrown in stoneware clay and fired using a traditional Japanese technique known as Raku. It has been decorated using white and turquoise crackle glazes leaving a plain black band at the base.

The bowl measures about 8cm tall and 16cm across and is stamped with my own pottery seal on the base.

The crackle glazes in Raku pots means they are porous and unsuitable for food or liquids. However, it also means each pot is totally unique and perfect as a gift or beautiful keepsake for your home.
