RARE WOVEN ELEGANT MASALA RED FLORAL VINTAGE NAGOYA OBI SILK FROM JAPAN

VINTAGE JAPANESE OBI SILK LARGE CUSHION COVER INC FEATHER PAD 50x50CM

I'VE JUST FINISHED MAKING THESE CUSHIONS AND I WANT TO KEP THEM ALL!
I MAKE THEM IN MY HOME STUDIO AND EVERY ONE IS UNIQUE AS I CAN ONLY GET VERY SMALL QUANTITIES OF EACH DESIGN.
I SPEND HOURS SOURCING THE SILK AND THIS ONE IS JUST STUNNING!
THIS RARE VINTAGE JAPANESE NAGOYA OBI SILK IS FROM THE 70'S - 80'S IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. IT HAS A WOVEN ELEGANT LEAF AND FLORAL PATTERN IN RUST, ORANGE AND MUSTARD. IT MOVES WITH THE LIGHT AND THE COLOURS CHANGE, IT HAS A DEPTH OF COLOUR THAT IS HARD TO CAPTURE. THE BORDER IS ALSO FROM A VINTAGE OBI BELT IN A DIAMOND GEOMETRIC DESIGN, THEY GO TOGETHER BEAUTIFULLY!
THE REVERSE IS RUST ORANGE VINTAGE JAPANESE WOVEN SILK FROM THE SAME OBI BELT.
THE CRAFTSMANSHIP IS AMAZING, I HAVE FULLY LINED THE CUSHION.
DO TAKE CARE WHEN REMOVING FEATHER PAD. THERE IS A HIDDEN ZIP IN THE SIDE OR BACK. IT INCLUDES A BRAND NEW HEAVY FEATHER PAD MADE IN THE UK.

I am tempted to keep these cushions as they are so amazing!
This Vintage Obi Silk is fully embroidered and the workmanship is incredibly detailed.
The rich colours are elegant and timeless.
A unique item made with love in London....
The feather pad is heavy so I will revise costs if you just want the cover only.
