Irish artist Bobbie Anderson spent his lifetime perfecting the skill of capturing countryside characters and scenes in the challenging medium of watercolour.

His favourite haunt was the horse and cattle fairs of the isolated north coast of Antrim and Donegal where he found the colourful subjects who characterised rural working life in Ireland.

This timeless culture he interpreted with effortless ease making him one of Irelands favourite artists.

Bobbies untimely death in 1995 led to an overwhelming demand for his work.

Bushmills Glow is one of the range of Bobbie's paintings we celebrate through Irish Characters. Through these hammered effect prints we reveal his painting's vivacious personality & subtle humour.
