Riding your bike as the sun starts to set, your shadow stretching across the road to the right of you, all powerful legs and wheels. Reminiscent of the dynamic shapes of communist propaganda posters - cycle your way to a better world!

Salvage 60% recycled organic cotton, 40% recycled polyester unisex raglan sweatshirt with 'SQUARE BIKE SHADOW' design in black on front and Lost Shapes logo on back. Thick jersey with brushed inside, ribbed neck and waist and cuffed sleeves for a flattering and super-comfy fit. Available in melange red in xs, s, m, l, xl and 2xl. PLEASE STATE SIZE REQUIRED WHEN ORDERING.

LOST SHAPES screen prints are all hand made by me in West Somerset, UK. Designs are deliberately simple and not-quite-perfect for a confident, retro look. Hand cut stencils, and hand pulled prints give an artisan quality, and the choice of a water-based ink with intense pigments means the prints really sink into the fabric and have a depth that isn't found in most mass-produced gear.

I became fascinated by the shapes of bikes, and especially their shadows, from sharing a garage/studio with far too many of them. This deign and the Long Bike Shadow design came out of this. I wanted to capture the dynamic, powerful feel as you look down on these distorted long wheels and legs, and I framed them in as a square as if it were an instagram or polaroid snap.
