Rhapsody in blue is an attempt to create mood and atmosphere that matches the intense feeling and emotions created by the sound of a solo piano. What motivated me was the comparison of the rudimentary methods of hammering taut strings on a piano and cutting and printing a one colour a lino panel to evoke a mood.
