Full description
The jumpers for this knee length coat have been carefully selected in autumnal colours of red, brown, purple and green. There is a long hood, waist ties, neck ties and 5 wooden flower buttons. I have also stitched a decorative patch pocket to the front of the coat.
The photos show the coat on a size 10-12 mannequin. Dimensions are:-
Chest - 46”
Waist -42”
Length nape to hem - 34”
Length Waist to hem - 20”
Hood length - 37”
Underarm sleeve seam length - 21”
Wrist circumference - 9"
Upper arm circumference - 13"
All measurements have been made with the coat laid out flat.
The waist ties can be used to pull in the coat for a tighter fit. Due to the up-cycled nature of these coats, and their weight, they are very versatile and have a variable fit, and do stretch, so this coat will fit many sizes. I can provide further measurements if required.
This fantastic up-cycled coat is created from acrylic and wool jumpers. These are previously loved and recycled jumpers, that I have washed in a hot temperature. I have then cut and re-stitched the jumpers, with all seams being professionally finished with a serger/over-locker, to create this fabulous coat. The button bands have been reinforced with interfacing.
I would suggest to hand washing your coat in cool water and dry flat.
