I love to create unique wearable art, and recycling generates ample materials to be reinvented into new and fantastic creations. A rainbow coat was a must on my list of things to make!

Full description
This fantastic up-cycled coat is created from mainly wool jumpers, with some angora and acrylic ones to create the full rainbow of colours. These are previously loved and recycled jumpers, that I have washed in a hot temperature and pre-shrunk. I have then cut and re-stitched the jumpers, with all seams being professionally finished with a serger/over-locker, to create this fabulous coat.
The jumpers have been carefully selected in a full rainbow of colours. There is an extra long pointed hood, neck ties, waist ties, large decorated patch pockets and a zip closure.
The photos show the coat on a size 10-12 mannequin with the waist ties pulled in at the back. Dimensions are:-
Chest - 42”
Waist - 42"
Length nape to hem - 45”
Length Waist to hem - 30”
Underarm sleeve seam length - 20”
Wrist circumference - 9"
Upper arm circumference - 14"
Hood length - 48”
Due to the up-cycled nature of these coats, and their weight, they are very versatile and have a variable fit, and do stretch, so this coat will fit a variety of sizes. I can provide further measurements if required.
I would suggest to hand washing your coat and dry flat. Although I have already hot washed the jumpers, they could still shrink!
