Full description
This is a hand decorated milk jug which has been made from slip cast earthenware. The coloured slip is applied before the glaze and the digital transfers are long lasting. The transfer decoration is based on traditional VW campers and older caravans which I took pictures of on my travels. Originally they were drawn with ink pen and felt tips to get the fun, flat colours. These drawings are scanned and computer manipulated (scaled down) before being made up into transfers. Silver lustre adds a decadent touch. The jug can technically be put into the dishwasher but I do not accept any responsibility for cracks in the glaze or fading of colour that a hot wash may cause!
