Full description
This is a hand-decorated teapot which has been made from slip cast earthenware. The teapot is plenty big enough for one person, holding sufficient tea to fill two or three large teacups. The transfer decoration is based on the ladybirds which gathered on my roses last summer and I used a simple blue fountain pen to create the design. This was scanned and computer manipulated (scaled down) before being made up into transfers. Silver lustre adds a decadent touch. The teapot can technically be put into the dishwasher but I do not accept any responsibility for cracks in the glaze or fading of colour that a hot wash may cause! (Placing of image may vary slightly from this photo as each item is hand decorated - ALL products show the same larger and smaller ladybirds.)
