Full description
A beautiful rose border embroidered in shades of pink, lilac and white decorates the front of this very pretty little bag.
Sky blue and greenwool fibers have been felted to a background of 'eco' felt (produced from recycled plastic bottles). Further patches of hand-dyed fibres have been felted to the background to provide a basis for embroidering the larger blooms. A detailed and textured flower border has been stitched in a mixture of crewel and tapestry wools, linen thread and various cotton threads.
The back of the bag has been knitted in a soft, pure wool yarn which self patterns through several shades of beige. The bag closes with a button-hole stitch loop pale blue cotton yarn, over a covered, knitted button. The bag is lined with a cotton, blue, printed fabric.
