I really enjoy working with ink on yupo though you can never predict the end results as the ink spreads of it's own accord, I love the challenge in 'taming' the ink to create beautiful artworks

Full description
An original small work of art Apricot Dawn, Ink on synthetic paper. The painting itself is 6 x 4, and sold mounted in an white frame board all ready to pop into an 8 x 6 frame.
To achieve the translucent effect on this painting I have created theeffects on the undergrowth by dropping ink onto a specially designed paper called Yupo and using sponges to add texture. Yupo is a man made synthetic paper which is specially designed to help paint or ink to 'flow' creating wonderful patterns that are difficult to achieve on regular paper.
I generally only ever create one of each design/colour, and all my designs are my own, usually based on my interpretation of places I have visited, or things I love so you can be sure of owning a truly unique item.
All items are made and stored in a non smoking and pet free home.
