This necklace is a very elegant and very comfortable to wear. A modern, minimalist design which is perfect for all occasions and ladies of any age.
This beautiful stone makes the most elegant pendant. The stone is a piece of square cut domed Rainbow Obsidian. As you look at the piece you can see bands of different colours in concentric circles. Each circle is slightly different in colour which is where the stone gains its rainbow name from. Subtle hues of green, brown, silver and green.
The gemstone has been highly polished making it very reflective - the shadows and reflections in my photos are not markings on the gemstone.
The domed rounded rectangular cabochon measures 30mm x 26mm. It has a total carat weight of 58.65. This gives the piece a wonderful weight which makes it sit beautifully on the neckline. The stone is highly polished and has a matt back.
I set the Rainbow Obsidian with the simplest of bails, which is stamped 925 for sterling silver and has been hand polished & finished. The pendant is suspended from a sturdy and attractive stainless steel cable neck wire with a quality screw closure.
The wire is 2mm in thickness and 42cm or 16.5 inches in length approx.
The necklace will come securely packaged.
