And thank you for supporting my business through 2025 Joy xx
I've been asked if make a witch on a broomstick. I said no as i didn't then but I do now.
I was so pleased when this was finished and I hung it in the window to check it - I found that I was smiling - that is exactly what I like people to do when they see my suncatchers so I think i have this one right !

This is a stained glass suncatcher handmade using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
A Witch on a broomstick. A brand new design for 2014.
The witch is clothed in deep purple textured glass, some iridescent for extra shine and her pointy hat is streaky purple blue decorated with a slver star.
Her hair is made from curls of wire which flow out behind her.
She is riding the skies on her broomstick which is made from twisted wire. Her cat rides behind. I think she is called Gladys but she refused to answer when i asked her to confirm this. She was a bit cross at being attached by a hot soldering iron. The cat wasn't too happy about it either !
To give a better impression of flying when this suncatcher hangs in the window I have used strong fishing line to hang it instead of my more usual silvery chain.
This suncatcher is 11cm in diameter and the witch looks pretty magical when she flies across the window in search of ingredients for her spells.
This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass for each piece to ensure they are unique.
All photos are of this witch as she is the first I have made.
I can make the dress in different colours, please contact me if you do, but I do prefer not to use black glass - unless you really want that.
