Full description
This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
A design to welcome Spring and when it comes Summer.
I've made a bunch of flowers. These are daisies, turquoise - green and blue shades and lime green. Each has a striped green nugget at the centre. I've used 3 shades of glass in each flower, in different textures to give plenty of movement.
The daisies are firmly attached to each other and hang from a silvery little chain which is securely fastened to the top with a soldered wire ring.
This looks simply stunning hanging in the window and would make a lovely ornament for any room. It is approximately 18cm in diameter.
This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass.
I can of course make this in other colour combinations. If you prefer different colours please send me a note and I will make one for you to your choice of colour scheme.
The 5th photo shows it in pinks and purple, the previous one I sold.
