I live near the sea, so a nautical style is just the ticket! I had fun experimenting with different width stripes, and I think I've got the balance just right with these two variations. There is plenty of interest in this design with the textured area, too.
Two other colourways so far, listed on Folksy. More to come.
The 100% MERINO WOOL I've used is from Italian company Adriafil and I'm really impressed by it both to knit with and with the finished article.

Hello sailor! Stripes are all the rage this year so I've been developing a range of striped jumpers like this one. It's handknitted in navy and white 100% Italian-spun merino wool which is smooth to the touch, and has a textured plain navy area on the chest and top of the back.
There is an easy opening on one shoulder, with three different-coloured buttons to fasten.
Machine washable at 30 degrees, dry flat and use a cool iron.
Chest measurement: 20"; length from shoulder 12"; sleeve length 7.5". Should comfortably fit 6-12 month old and maybe a bit older!
NOTE: the navy is a little darker than shown in the photograph (more of a 'true' navy blue).
