Have a lovely Chrsitmas everyone
And thank you for supporting my business through 2025 Joy xx
I was playing with my latest toy, my Hotpot Microwave kiln and fused some little dichoric nuggets so designed this suncatcher just so I could use one of them.
Dichroic glass is very special, very expensive and very sparkly..

This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
A Star of David in 6 shades and textures of blue and purple glass formed from 2 intertwined Celtic triangles
. I have filled the centre with a nugget I fused in my kiln that includes a sparkle of dichroic glass..
This is 13cms in diameter and hangs from a little silvery chain which is securely attached to the top of the suncatcher.
it is would make a wonderfully bright addition to any room.
It is totally individual and I am really pleased with it.
I've used the lovely shades of the glass nugget in the centre in the outer edge of the star.
The sparkle of the dichroic glass in the nugget makes this piece a little bit more special.
.
I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass for each piece to ensure they are unique.
The 5th photo shows three previous stars I've made so you can see it in different colours.
