Here's one for the mechanic or engineer. A wooden nut and bolt jump drive, memory stick, thumb drive, or whatever else they're called. It's handmade from a lovely piece of yew wood.

It houses a 2GB memory and measures about 3" (75mm) long.

The 'threaded' portion of the bolt is about 3/4" (18mm) diameter and it's about 1 1/4" (30mm) across the flats of the bolt head.

I do favour a finish that allows the ‘woodiness’ of the material to show through rather than a glossy varnish, and most of what I have on sale feature an oil and hard wax finish.

Superstitious?

…then with a wooden memory stick, you can always ‘Touch Wood’!

This jump drive deserves to be shown off. It has 2 Gigabytes of memory. I'm told 2 GB will accept anything between 500 and 2000 photographs depending on quality settings. Or 500 MP3s at 128 kB/s.
