This hand spun pure merino wool yarn is soft on the skin. I hand dye all my yarns using eco-friendly dyes.

This pure wool yarn is hand spun from Merino wool, resulting in a wool that is soft to touch. It has been single thick/thin spun using a woolen long draw method to create a yarn that is light and fluffy and has a bit of texture. The yarn has been hand dyed to a a spring time shade of fiddlehead green.
Approx 50 gram skein,115 yards
Sample has been hand knit using 5 mm knitting needles.
To care for this yarn, please hand wash in cold water using a gentle soap.
This yarn would be lovely knit up into a scarf, a hat or mittens or a cozy jumper. For a scarf you would need approx 100 grams. You would need about 400-600 grams to knit a jumper (depending on the size and style of course).
