My growing collection of hand made textile beads was the starting point for this item.

Full description
A striking necklace featuring three types of hand made textile beads, in shades of bright pink, orange and metallic gold. Bold and chunky but very light weight and comfortable to wear.
A total of 15 hand-made textile beads are used in the design. The 'recipe' is as follows:
- 3 fabric beads. A strip of eco felt is rolled into a cylinder, stitched in place and bound in a strip of torn cotton fabric, in shades of pink and orange with a printed pattern in metallic gold.
- 6 knitted spherical beads - in shades of orange and bright pink (mohair mix), stitched into shape and stuffed with polyester wadding (in the case of the two smallest beads, the wadding is replaced with a spun cotton ball). The four larger beads are embroidered with simple flowers in metallic gold thread.
- 6 suffolk puff beads. A small circle of printed cotton is gathered all round the edge and stitched into a flat disk shape.
The beads, are strung on an orange cotton thread. A hand made orange cotton cord completes each side of the necklace which closes with a loop over a vintage button.
Length - 44 cm approx. ( this may be shortened to your requirements - please message me at purchase)
Length of beaded section - 21 cm approx.
