Sometimes images speak louder than words. This little heart has been hand-stitched in yellow embroidery thread on to white aida, and popped in a glass bottle measuring approx 4 cm in height. The cork can be easily taken in and out, so you can add your own written message if you desire - or just leave plain and let the heart do the talking.

I first created these little hearts in bottles as gifts for family and friends. The idea was to take the 'message in a bottle' tradition and simplify it, using cross stitch which is my favorite craft practice. Pixie x
