I like to use the West Sussex landscapes that surround me as inspiration to create art with wool. I hand dye most of my wools and silk fibres. These become the paints that create my canvas. A combination of hand crafting techniques: needle felting, hand stitching and machine embroidery complete the work.

Full description
This felt art landscape was made with pure wool and alpaca fibers using a wet felting method to create the background. The buildings and other objects were needle felted and then hand and machine stitched to add detail.
The wall hanging is backed with a linen fabric and is ready to hang.
