I am a yoga instructor and using sheepskins in my practise daily. However being a natural product I wanted something what covers my entire mat- but still being natural with the wonderful benefits of sheepskin.

I came up with this absolutely unique design of MERINO lambswool yoga mat cover: it is so versatile and wonderful accessory to your daily yoga practise- that once you used it you cant part with it. I have introduced it in my yoga classes with a great success- therefore I have decided to create one for ETSY too! Please see the last photo comparing it with a sheepskin rug!

MAT SIZE is 65 cm width and 170 cm length- so unlike sheepskins it will cover your entire mat if you want to use it for seated /supine poses or relaxation.
this wonderful item is also machine washable- so easy care unlike sheepskin rugs!

The mat has 3 layers: front layer is natural eco merino wool category A , highest grade shorn wool (like the sheepskin just without the suede part). I have added a middle cushioning layer to maximise your comfort and the reversible backside is made of a fabulous retro Swedish designer linen feel natural cotton fabric- really gorgeous combination of materials- absolutely unisex earthy colours.
This mat is extremely versatile in you daily practise, brilliant for many asanas, can be used as a rolled bolster cushion or rolled yoga prop: LOVER BACK OR WRIST ELBOW, KNEE SUPPORT.

The 100% eco natural merino sheepskin wool furpile is guaranteed to be free of harsh chemicals: formaldehyde, DBY, pesticides, chlorophenol and heavy metals. The lambskin wool was not treated chemically!
