Full description
A pretty necklace featuring four types of hand made textile beads, in shades of blue and white.
A total of 13 textile beads, and two blue ceramic beads, complete the design. The 'recipe' is as follows:
- 3 hand embroidered, silk beads. A lovely deep blue silk is folded over a strip of eco felt. This is rolled into a cylinder and stitched in place. Three daisies are hand embroidered onto each bead, using a metallic blue thread with navy cotton used for the centers.
- 4 ribbon covered, felt cylinders.
- 5 fabric covered spherical beads - a blue flowers on white cotton fabric covering either spun cotton, or polystyrene balls.
- 2 knitted beads - a small portion of reverse stocking stitch knitting in a mohair yarn, in shades of blue, stretched and stitched over a wool fabric background
The beads, are strung on a waxed linen thread. A loop of blue ribbon is stitched onto each end of the bead strip. The necklace closes with a lobster claw clasp into a ring stitched onto the ends of the ribbon loops.
Length - 73 cm approx. ( this may be shortened to your requirements - please message me at purchase)
Length of beaded section - 31 cm approx.
