A BEAUTIFUL HANDMADE SOLID OAK SIDE TABLE
TABLE MEASUREMENTS: DIAMETER 17" HEIGHT = 23"
THE TABLETOP IS CONSTRUCTED FROM MANY SECTIONS OF KILN-DRIED OAK WHICH HAVE BEEN INDIVIDUALLY HAND-CUT, SANDED AND FINISHED
THE INDIVIDUAL SECTIONS ARE FIRMLY HELD TOGETHER BY A SINGLE SHEET OF 18mm ALL WEATHER PLYBOARD
THE TABLE STEM IS A 6" x 6" SOLID OAK BEAM WHICH AGAIN HAS BEEN INDIVIDUALLY HAND-CUT, SANDED AND FINISHED. THIS BEAM IS SEASONED WHICH MEANS THAT IT MAY CRACK AND SPLIT SLIGHTLY OVER TIME AT ROOM TEMPERATURE. THIS DOES NOT AFFECT THE STABILITY OF THE TABLE AND IT ADDS A LOVELY RUSTIC CHARM TO THE PIECE
THE TABLE STEM AND CERTAIN SECTIONS OF THE TOP HAVE BEEN FINISHED IN DANISH OIL. TO GIVE A CONTRAST, OTHER SECTIONS OF THE TABLETOP HAVE BEEN SIMPLY FINISHED WITH A HIGH QUALITY WAX.
EVERY PIECE OF OAK ON THIS TABLE HAS BEEN HAND SELECTED AND CUT, SANDED AND FINISHED BY MYSELF. THE DIFFERENT GRAINS AND FINISHES MAKE THIS TABLE ABSOLUTELY UNIQUE !
