Full description
I started this quilt last summer but have only just completed it! I found the pattern in a magazine, and thought it would be a great design to use all the different bright cotton fabrics from my quilting stash. The quilt is a simple block construction, machine pieced, with the colour palette changing from greens, blues and purple, through red, orange and yellow, down to black and white with bright highlights. Heirloom cotton batting is used to line the quilt and it is backed in a plain deep purple fabric, with all over random quilting in colour coordinated thread.
The quilt measures 60" w x 76" h, so would just fit a childs single bed. Alternatively it would make a great lap quilt or picnic blanket.
The p&p charges cover insurance for the quilt.
