Heres something different for your home!!
This image is an example of one of my Door Light Window Panels.
My door light windows are primarily to replace the clear panes of glass that lots of people have above doorways within their home.
It's a great place to add some stained glass to your home, if your main windows are all double glazing, that surrounds most of us these days.
This way you can introduce something with real character and have input into its design.
The one shown had to work with some landscape paintings which my customer had painted by Paul Corfield and its worked in a really complimentary way. It doesnt even have direct light as its from the hallway but really has brightened the place up
(I make others for various uses, but throught these might be especially interesting to Folksy peeps)
Size of example is :
Width 76.5cm
Height 38cm
They are all my own designs and often reflective of others that I have made into my lamps. The Sunrise design is one tht I have worked with for nearly ten years, and one that i am well known for. It pops up everywhere in my work and I recently installed one into a house in Richmond, Surrey.
Please see the blog piece on this one: http://cherishedstainedglass.wordpress.com/2010/04/18/the-landscape-window-project/
The one shown is £350 for the panel and price would depend on design and size etc. Installation additional and the delivery fee again would need to be discussed. (final payment would still go through Folksy in the normal way after we had discussed design, suitability and agreed everything.) Please contact me before hitting the buy button as its such a special project.
But if you have another idea, or passion, ie: Sailing, flowers, abstracts then its all possible.
If you are interested in having one made for your home, please just get in contact and lets discuss it.
Its always fun to be involved with something like this and to be able to give so much of your own input into a design.
Steve :)
