This listing is for patterns for you to knit your own Hopkins Penguin and life preserver. The patterns include instructions and lots of photos to help you make your own little friends.

The 10 page pattern is written so it is easier for beginners to follow, with lots of photos and instructions for making the finished toys. You will need to be able to do the following stitches/techniques: knit, purl, casting on and off, sewing seams, increases, decreases, changing colours and intarsia knitting, short rows (some instructions are included in the pattern to help you). All pieces are knitted flat on straight needles.
