Finsbury Squirrel is busy today collecting acorns.
This listing is for patterns for you to knit your own Finsbury Squirrel, basket and acorns. The patterns include instructions and lots of photos to help you make your own little friend.
Please note that this is not a listing for a finished item. This listing is for the knitting patterns only.
The pattern is 11 pages, and is written so it is easier for beginners to follow. You will need to be able to do the following stitches/techniques: knit, purl, cast on & off, intarsia colour knitting, i-cord, sewing seams, increases & decreases.
Size: Squirrel 14cm tall ; Acorn 6cm high; Basket 10 cm x 5 cm x 8 cm high
Materials include:
Squirrel:
3.25mm needles
50g fluffy alpaca wool in grey and 20g in light grey
Toy stuffing approx 100g
Black wool for embroidery
Acorn:
3.25 mm needles
4ply pure wool - 10g pale green, 10g brown
Toy stuffing approx 10g
Basket:
4 mm needles
30g felted tweed wool
4 small buttons for decoration
You will also need a tapestry needle.
The patterns will be emailed to you in pdf format within 3 days of cleared payment, although I do endeavour to send your pattern to you within 24 hours of payment. I only accept Paypal payments. Payment needs to be made within 3 days of purchase. Patterns will be emailed to the e-mail address you hold with paypal. If you have trouble receiving your pattern please let me know. Please can you also check your junk mail folders.
