I love this quilted quilt in Moda fabric. More summer style really, so not very seasonal but it took me longer to quilt than I thought it would - I didn't manage to finish it in time for last summer!

However, Lucy's Crab Shack fabric by Sweetwater for Moda is beautiful fabric - such good quality and the colours are vibrant. I have used Heirloom wadding.
This quilt could be used on a bed or taken down to the beach to use as a picnic quilt.

I have made this quilt using my Janome sewing machine and it has had to work very hard! Almost the entire quilt has been free motion machine quilted and I got through 3 quilting needles before I had finished it! This type of quilting is called 'stippling' and it gives this quilt a firm, compact feel.

The binding is double thickness and I have hand stitched it on the reverse.

I real heirloom piece.

If a quilt is purchased along with a small item, I will send both together with the small item postage free. However if a quilt is purchased along with another quilt then I will need to dispatch them in separate parcels and charge postage for both.
